Disinformation, misinformation, hate speech, algorithms, artificial intelligence, and deepfakes are all pervasive concepts that shape our connected society. Yet, their true meanings and the extent of their impact on our perception of the world and our behaviors remain unclear to many. More importantly, understanding how to respond to these challenges is crucial in today’s digital landscape.
To address these issues, our interactive workshops are designed specifically for 11th and 12th-grade students. Over the course of two hours, participants explore the mechanisms of disinformation, analyze its dangers, and discuss practical strategies to counter its influence. Through engaging activities, they learn to recognize online information traps, grasp their own role in the digital ecosystem, and develop critical thinking skills to responsibly assess and share content.
We’re building a mobile app that integrate seamlessly with major social media platforms and news sites. Users can hover, tap, or screenshot content to get verification signals powered by AI detection models, cross-referenced databases, and fact-checking partnerships. Designed with young users in mind, the interface prioritizes speed, transparency, and education over judgment or censorship.

Currently in development, the AI Integrity App is co-designed with students, researchers, and journalists. It’s set to launch in beta in late 2025. The project aims to empower a new generation of digital citizens to question, verify, and push back against synthetic disinformation—without having to become experts.
